The Games We Played
From the mists of Hibernia to the gates of Orgrimmar and everywhere in between.
Dark Age of Camelot
“AA has been in DAOC since June 2002.”
How It Began
It started in Beetle Hell. That’s where the first members of Athena’s Avatars cut their teeth - dying repeatedly, learning the ropes, and forging friendships that would last nearly two decades. Click ate many of us. Our first real dungeon was Muire Tomb, and we spent hours waiting at the Fin Tree in the Cursed Forest, watching the world go by and building bonds.
The guild called Hibernia on Igraine home, but the journey didn’t stop there. AA moved from Igraine (Hibernia) to Gareth (Albion) and eventually to Ector (Midgard), where we played under the name “HEY YALL”.

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning
“We’ve waited for YEARS for this game… AND ITS HERE!”
September 16, 2008 - Warhammer Online launched and AA charged in with massive excitement. Despite a pre-launch interview saying the guild would roll Destruction, they ended up going ORDER on the Badlands server.
November 18, 2008 - Just two months later, the guild called it quits.
“We all rushed to 50… and there was nothing to do. Poor implementation and execution, Mythic. Damned you, EA!!!”
Two months. From launch-day euphoria to bitter disappointment. WAR was over for AA almost before it began.
The Many Worlds of AA
“We are trying it all right now.”
“After a meeting we decided, unfortunately, we are all grown folks and can’t be crack-headed gamers anymore.”
